The premium wool in this small batch blend comes from a ranch committed to Climate-Beneficial farming practices for their pure-bred Rambouillet flock of sheep. The micron count is about a soft 22 microns and this wool is blended with 20% Tussah silk which will give shine and take dye beautifully.
Rambouillet wool is amazingly springy and crimpy, as well as soft, so the wool has bounce-back memory when spun and knitted.
