I find that it is often best to seed my seeds in a flat that I can keep moist.  I have a much better germination rate, than when I plant in the ground, because it is easy for the ground to get to dry or hard, or cold during the germination period, and then my seed, money and time were wasted.   \u003cbr\u003e  \u003cbr\u003e The flowers are used to make a very bright, stong, lightfast yellow dye, and you can see the bright sunny yellow yarn that the flowers produced in the listing pictures.    \u003cbr\u003e  \u003cbr\u003e The seeds are very light and very small.
