Lovely neutral, tan fawn baby alpaca fiber. The staple length is 3-4". Soft baby alpaca fiber. Alpaca fiber has a certain silky, slippery quality that gives the resulting yarn excellent drape.
Some people say not to make alpaca sweaters because they will stretch out and lose their shape, but I have an alpaca sweater and I enjoy wearing it, and I don't find that it stretches out too big. I enjoy the drape that the resulting knitted fabric has.
